Does It Make Sense to Act As If We Already Made The Change?

A photorealistic image blending abstract elements: a person in business attire stands at a crossroads, one path lined with luxury symbols (sports car, modern cityscape, elegant watch), the other path cluttered with clocks, calendars, and paperwork. The figure appears thoughtful, caught between aspiration and reality, with soft light highlighting both ambition and the pressure of time.

I've been struggling since the time I got the following advice: "Behave as if you've already changed". My goal is to become millionaire so I started behaving like a millionaire and I realized I don't have time to work for the money I wanted to have. I found this is common dillema and I will try to resolve it here for you.

There are 3 steps to filter actions that your dream self does and which you should be doing:

1. Does this action give you necessary character traits that the dream person has?

2. Does this action give you necessary environment information that the dream person has?

3. Does this action actually progresses you to obtain the main goal and have what the dream person has?

The first one is there because when we have character traits of the dream person we can start behaving like them, the same applies to the step number two.

The step number three is the last one and filters most of the actions we should be doing, but it does not mean that if in my example I wanted to go to a walk in the morning because millionairies do the same I did it despite the fact that I am very deficient in time because it gave me required character traits and required environment information supplementation that I was needing.
